چکیده

Industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) is a plant species cultivated as raw material for fiber extraction. Alternatively, biomass can be used feeding or energy purposes. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of inoculation with lactic acid bacteria starter culture on fermentation and chemical compositions silages. Hemp shoots (HS) flowers (HF) were ensiled in mini laboratory silos without commercial Lactosil Biogaz (Lentilactobacillus buchnerii KKP 907 p; L. buchneri A 2047 Pediococcus acidilactici 2065 p). After 7 42 days ensiling, quality silages assessed. The use Biogas resulted decrease pH, increase (LA), reduction fungal abundance HS silage. In case HF silage, bacterial less effective; however, an LA butyric (BA) observed. As result ensilage process, decreases crude hemicellulose observed Thus, ensiling biological additives effective pre-treatment plants subsequent biofuel production that preserve provide year-round availability feedstock.

Nutritive quality of romanian hemp varieties (Cannabis sativa L.) with special focus on oil and metal contents of seeds

UNLABELLED BACKGROUND The study aims to determine the nutritional value of hemp seed expressed by the oil content and by the concentration of metals (Ca, Mg, K, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cd), for five varieties of monoecious and dioecious hemp seeds approved in Romania, comparative with the concentration of these metals in the soil. RESULTS The content of oil in hempseed registers a slight decrease i...

Bacterial Inoculant Effects on Corn Silage Fermentation and Nutrient Composition

The survival and effect of three new probiotic inoculants (Lactobacillus plantarum CCM 4000, L. fermentum LF2, and Enterococcus faecium CCM 4231) on the nutritive value and fermentation parameters of corn silage was studied under laboratory conditions. Whole corn plants (288.3 g/kg DM) were cut and ensiled at 21°C for 105 days. The inoculants were applied at a concentration of 1.0×10 cfu/ml. Un...
